Students

Rockdale Baptist Student Ministry, or RBSM, exist to minister to the teenagers of Rockdale County and the surrounding areas. Our desire is to help encourage, guide and disciple students as maturing followers of Jesus Christ. We do this through Small Group Bible Study on Sunday Mornings, Discipleship Classes on Sunday nights, Midweek Bible Studies on Wednesday nights, and different events and activities throughout the year.

If you have any questions, please contact our Student Pastor, Daniel Peavy.

Sunday School

Currently our Student Ministry’s Sunday Morning Small Group Bible Study meets from 10:30 AM – 11:45 AM in the Student Area upstairs at Rockdale Baptist Church. We have 4 classes: Middle School Guys, Middle School Girls, High School Guys, and High School Girls. Each class is led by 2-3 adult leaders who desire to encourage and invest in the next generation!

Mission U meets from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Sunday Evenings. Each Semester we will dive into a subject to spur our students on towards growth as a follower of Jesus Christ.

Midweek

Our Midweek Service meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM in the student area. During Midweek service, we will spend time in Worship, led by our student praise team, Bible Studies on engaging topics or books of the Bible, Small groups, and games.

Events throughout the year

Throughout each year, we will offer different events, and activities. Some of these events are built around strengthening relationships within our group, some are more for reaching out to our community, but all are meant to be evangelistic in nature, for building relationships and sharing the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We don’t expect every student to participate in every event , but we do want you to know each of these events were created with purpose and are designed to help you grow in your relationship with Christ.
